Cheryl Johnson

South Side of Chicago homeowner

Mrs. Cheryl Johnson, age 68, is a senior resident of the South Side of Chicago West Englewood Community and has lived in her home since 1979.  Since the passing of her husband in 2019, Mrs. Johnson has continued to maintain her home on her own.  She is in need of several critical home repairs to ensure the safety and habitability of her residence.

The repairs needed:

Replacement of the gutters, replacement of both the front and back porches, installation of new handrails for the upstairs staircase and the stairs leading to the basement, complete replacement of one bathroom, replacement of kitchen cabinets, which are currently deteriorating and falling apart.

Mrs. Johnson has found it difficult to find and apply to resources on her own.
