Cheryl King , age 75, is a senior who resides on the West Side of Chicago.  She has lived in her home since 1963 and inherited the property from her grandmother.

Ms.  King is in urgent need of home repairs, particularly the replacement of deteriorating windows and the reconstruction or repair of her front porch.

Although Ms. King continues to work and receive Social Security Benefits, her limited income is insufficient to cover the cost of these needed repairs. She has been unable to get help from existing city or state programs.
