Cynthia Harris' Story: Two Generations of Home Repair Help
H.O.M.E. Community Advisory Member
Cynthia Harris' family has relied on H.O.M.E. across two generations. Her late mother came first, and years later Cynthia did too, after a stroke left her on disability and money grew tight. Her story shows what affordable repair help can mean for older adults facing hard times.
“I would like to share my experience with H.O.M.E which began in the early 2000s when my late mother utilized your services.
During that time, H.O.M.E re-tiled her powder room, installed safety brackets for the bathroom, painted it, and added a banister to the basement landing. She was very pleased with the work that was performed. My personal experience with H.O.M.E started in 2019.
Following a stroke, I was on disability, which made finances challenging. My sister and I recalled H.O.M.E and contacted them for assistance with our plumbing. We received the same excellent service and were only charged for the replacement parts. It has been a pleasure to work with H.O.M.E.”
