Why This Home Repair Resources Presentation Matters
More than 600,000 Illinois homeowners are low-income seniors, according to the DePaul Institute for Housing Studies. Three out of four live in homes more than 50 years old that need repairs they can’t afford.
Programs exist to help, but too few people know about them. Our coalition tracks and shares those resources with the people who need them most.
Meet the Organizations Advocating for Illinois Senior Home Repair
This presentation is also a chance to connect. Organizations advocating for senior home repair will come together to discuss what’s working and where challenges remain.
Housing Opportunities and Maintenance for the Elderly (H.O.M.E.), a leading member of our coalition, hosts the event. Please share this invitation with colleagues who care about repairing senior homes.
